How Does The Samson Option Influence The Current Geopolitical Chess Board? What many still do not fully appreciate is the nuclear dimension that makes this situation uniquely dangerous. Israel possesses an undeclared nuclear arsenal, built in part with material stolen from the United States, a fact corroborated in recently declassified JFK files. President Kennedy had been actively working to halt Israel’s nuclear program and to force the ‘AZC’ Israel lobby, (which later became AIPAC), to register as a foreign agent. He was assassinated before either effort could succeed. Declassified reports from the CIA, FBI, and GAO confirm that 200–600 pounds of highly enriched uranium disappeared from the NUMEC plant in Apollo, Pennsylvania, in the mid 1960s. The facility’s owner, Zalman Shapiro, had deep Zionist ties and active contracts with Israel. In 1976, CIA Deputy Director Carl Duckett concluded that the missing highly enriched uranium had been diverted to Israel’s nuclear weapons program. Visits to NUMEC by Israeli officials, including Rafi Eitan, (who later ran the Jonathan Pollard Israeli spy operation), immediately raised red flags. Circumstantial evidence, including soil samples and NUMEC’s unusually heavy losses, pointed to theft or diversion. Former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon later hinted at their underlying protocol when he stated, “We are much more important than Americans think. We can take the Middle East with us whenever we go.” A strategic advisory group known as Project Daniel, which counseled Sharon, openly discussed enhancing deterrence through nuclear mutually assured destruction, the doctrine commonly known as the “Samson Option,” which is a term reportedly coined by David Ben-Gurion and other early Israeli leaders. Whether people are prepared to confront it or not, this is the reality President Trump has to navigate. "This is not an exaggeration, but a conclusion drawn directly from the consolidated financial statements of the Treasury for fiscal year 2025, which were published last week with little media attention. The figures: $6.06 trillion in total assets compared to $47.78 trillion in total liabilities as of September 30, 2025." It is important to note that the stated liabilities of $47.78 trillion do not include unfunded obligations from social insurance programs such as social assistance and health insurance. These are disclosed separately in the off-balance-sheet Social Security report (SOSI). The government’s consolidated balance sheet, excluding the SOSI, deteriorated by nearly $2.07 trillion between fiscal years 2024 and 2025, reaching a frightening negative value of $41.72 trillion. The total liabilities now exceed nearly eight times the value of the stated assets. Major factors included the increase in federal debt and interest payable by $2 trillion to now $30.33 trillion, as well as the increase in payments to federal employees and veterans by $438.8 billion to now $15.47 trillion. The off-balance-sheet picture is even more concerning. The unfunded social security obligations for the next 75 years rose by $10.1 trillion within a year—from $78.3 trillion in fiscal year 2024 to $88.4 trillion in fiscal year 2025. This is primarily attributed to the increase in the projected deficit of Part B of Medicare by $6.9 trillion as well as the increase in obligations from social assistance by $2.5 trillion. According to the Treasury Department's statement on long-term fiscal projections, the fiscal gap for 75 years increased from 4.3% of GDP in fiscal year 2024 to 4.7% of GDP in fiscal year 2025. If the $88.4 trillion in off-balance-sheet liabilities with a duration of 75 years were added to the official on-balance-sheet liabilities of $47.78 trillion, total federal liabilities would exceed $136.2 trillion.
