Most Israelis Oppose Iran Ceasefire, Reject Talks: Poll Over 60 percent are against the current truce, while 73 percent believe negotiations will not achieve Tel Aviv’s goals A majority of Israelis are against the ceasefire with Iran and anticipate that it will collapse within the coming year, according to a poll carried out by Israel’s Institute for National Security Studies. The survey was carried out between 9 and 10 April. According to the results, 61 percent of Israelis oppose the cessation of hostilities with the Islamic Republic. Seventy-three percent said Tel Aviv will have to resume the war, while 76 percent said that talks will not achieve Israeli objectives. Additionally, 69 percent say Israel must continue the indiscriminate strikes on Lebanon and military operations against Hezbollah.
