The martyrs are prescient in their wisdom and firm in their principles. The "revolutionary intellectual," as he was known, inherited the nickname of martyr Basil Al-Araj. Yesterday, Mohammed Asri Fayad, ascended as a martyr.
In a heroic armed clash from a besieged home, Abu Al-Asri ascended with his comrade Abu Al-Jaber in Qabatiya, #Jenin, after fighting for hours, literally until the last bullet and breath despite reinforcements, air support, and relentless bombing with shoulder-fired missiles.
Though young, he was a member of the Jenin Brigade's military council, astute, and a fierce fighter, leaving us with his wise teachings.
The martyr acknowledged that his sacrifices are small compared to those in Gaza, yet affirmed that they are on the same path and covenant. The message of the resistance, he says, is to continue resisting until the liberation of Palestine (Media 1).
As if speaking of his own martyrdom (Media 6), Al-Asri recounts the previous abduction of his siblings and family members and the targeting of his home. "They fired missiles at the home from every direction. I wasn't in the home, but they bombed it over six times." His brother was wounded and family members abducted as part of the IOF's collective punishment. "This is the policy of the occupation. My response? We are on the path of resistance...They will not weaken our resolve."
In another video (Media 2), commander Abu Al-Asri says: "Here, our martyr has departed after a journey of struggle, and his words say: Take, O my Lord, from my soul and my body. Take, O my Lord, from my life and my sorrow. Take from my life what pleases You, for in Your satisfaction, O my Lord, lies the greatest blessings. Faith is more precious than our skulls, and every precious thing is worthless compared to it. My brothers, make use of your steadfastness with prayers for our martyr, for he would not sleep at night nor during the day, a steadfast and brave fighter."
A freed prisoner himself, spending 7 months in zionist prisons and released in 2020, commander Al-Asri wrote (Media 4):
"He has treated me well by taking me our of prison.
And what is prison but the shadow of a house I lived in, luxuriating in its shade and comfort. How many a free man have shackled themselves with humiliation, while another honors and esteems his imprisonment.
We remain with our high determination and we refuse to be broken, even if our bodies are shackled for a moment in time. The shackles of minds are weaker than a spider's web... A resounding greeting mixed with pride and patience for those who imprisoned; my gratitude extends to them like a river... I extend my sincere thanks to everyone who shared this joy with me... Freedom for the prisoners, freedom."
Glory to the martyrs who illuminate the path to liberation.
In a March 7th, 2023 raid on #Jenin, the victorious resistance rose as usual to defend its steadfast camp. This heroic photo emerged at the time, and it was revealed today that the fighter pictured in the photo is Samih Abu Al-Wafa, a Jenin Brigade fighter who ascended to martyrdom at the start of the Fury of Jenin battle.
In the March battle, six Palestinians ascended to martyrdom, including Abdelfattah Kharousha of Nablus who was taking refuge in Jenin, the executor of the Huwara operation that killed two settlers whose funeral was attacked by the Palestinian Authority. The homeland's popular cradle rose up for Jenin at the time, declaring wide support for resistance and against normalization.
Samih had asked his family not to reveal his identity until his martyrdom. Glory to our resisting heroes.
The “Fury of the Free”, as it has been coined by Saraya Al-Quds - Jenin Brigade, has led to the complete withdrawal of occupation forces.
Occupation forces have withdrawn from #Jenin humiliated, dragging countless damaged vehicles away from the city and losing others completely to the resistance.
The Palestinian resistance fought a valiant battle for over 10 hours, employing new explosives which made death traps out of the occupation’s precious armored vehicles. With scenes of valiance rarely seen in all of history, fighters advanced to press the invading soldiers and trap them in ambush after ambush. They faced infantry soldiers, APCs, and Apache helicopters, unwavering. The battle was the most intense since the 2002 Battle of Jenin. Footage proves that there are far more than the seven wounded soldiers the occupation has admitted to.
Five Palestinian martyrs ascended in this glorious battle, all five holding their heads high in defiance of the subjugation the occupation fails yet again to enforce upon them. Their bodies will be exalted with all pride and joy in the coming hours.
Glory to the martyrs.
Glory to the steadfast resistance.
Glory to the Fury of the Free.
In December 2021, prisoner Ayham Kamamji recited a poem he had written from inside his one meter by one meter prison cell.
The free refuse to be chained.
The hawk despises the humiliation of sheep.
But my consolation is that in Gaza, we have brothers,
Even if they are imprisoned, who are crows.
Ayham Kamamji is one of the six prisoners of the Freedom Tunnel operation. His brother, Sha's Kamamji, ascended to martyrdom by IOF bullets in Kafr Dan, #Jenin in April 2022.
Upon his freedom, although short-lived, he stated, "When I reached Jenin, I felt as though I had reached heaven. I had hoped to visit my mother's grave, but I was not able to."
The mother of the martyr Izz al-Din Hamamra, assassinated in Jaba', #Jenin two days ago, talks about a gold ring her martyred son bought for her that she didn't initially want.
"Mama, if you don't want this ring, I will sell it and buy bullets."
🚨 The zionist "Northern West Bank Settlements Council" has launched a campaign to recruit settlers for the establishment of 18 new settlement outposts, with support from the "israeli" Ministry of Settlement.
Recent developments in #Jenin include:
• The return of settlers to settlements in the area.
• The IOF seizing hundreds of dunams of land for the construction of settler roads.

Nu'man is in reference to the intellectual revolutionary, Nu'man Tahaineh. Tahaineh was a fighter and thinker from Silat Al-Harithiya, #Jenin, who became one of the most prominent leaders of the Saraya Al-Quds Brigades in the West Bank. In 2004, he ascended to martyrdom in an IOF assassination.
🚨 Asmaa Mahmoud Al-Hajj remains without necessary medical treatment for 10 months following a decision by the Palestinian Authority.
Asmaa was shot and paralyzed during the Palestinian Authority's treacherous campaign against #Jenin Camp on January 3, 2025. Her father, Mahmoud, and brother, Qasem Al-Jalqamousi, were martyred by Authority gunfire during the same incident. Despite initial promises of medical support, the Authority has since halted her treatment.
