🚨 The freedom fighter Nael Barghothi, one of the oldest Palestinian prisoners enters his 45th year in the colonial prisons of the occupation, making him the longest held political prisoner in the world. Today, his condition remains unknown, as the occupation forces are withholding any information about his health. He is being denied visits from his family and lawyer and continues to endure severe assaults, beatings, isolation, and a lack of medical treatment. However, we remember his message sent to the world two years ago, in which he wrote, "Silence speaks." Since he was 19 years old, Nael has been in and out of the zionist prisons. He was released in the 2011 Loyalty to the Free prisoner exchange deal, and he married the liberated prisoner Iman Nafeh shortly after. Three years later, however, Nael was abducted again after giving a speech at Birzeit University. He is an avid reader, learning English and Hebrew in prison and serving as a source of information for other prisoners. Nael al-Barghouthi’s suit remains hanging in his bedroom in his home village of Kobar. His wife keeps all her husband’s in place since he was first arrested. It is worth mentioning that his wife, Iman Nafeh was re-arrested on March 5, 2024 and released a few months later on June 4, 2024. In 2021, Barghouti faced a difficult phase with the loss of his brother and comrade Omar Barghouti (Abu Asef), as the occupation deprived him of bidding farewell. As Nael still remains in the occupation's prison, we remember the eternal words of his brother who taught us that, "Every prisoner is a cause" and "if the prisoner is lost, the nation is lost." #FreeThemAll

From Past Victories to Future Freedoms: South Lebanon and Palestine. Today marks the 24th anniversary of the liberation of 144 prisoners from the colonial Khiam prison camp and torture center just days before the zionist occupation was driven out of southern Lebanon. The prison was run by colonists and their allies since its inception. In the 1930s, it held rebels against the French occupation, and in 1985, invading zionists and the SLA turned it into a brutal torture facility. In October 1991, 210 detainees were known to be held in Khiam, of whom 20 were non-Lebanese. This group included 13 Palestinians, four Syrians, two Kurds, and one Algerian. Among the detainees, there were 16 women (15 Lebanese and one Palestinian). Reports indicate that detainees ranged from minors to individuals in their sixties and older. One of the youngest detainees, Rabah Shahrur, was around 12 years old when he was captured, held in Khiam for eight months to pressure his detained older brother into confessing. Another child, Ahmad Nimr Munther from Markaba, was 14 when he was taken prisoner in 1989. It was common to torture the relatives of the prisoners, their parents, and loved ones to force them to "confess" that they were resisting occupation. Over the years, over 5,000 people, including 500 women like revolutionary Lebanese resister Suha Bechara (media 4, part 1), would be imprisoned and tortured at Khiam by electrocution, beating, waterboarding, and other brutal methods. 11 martyrs (media 2, part 2) ascended inside the prison due to torture, medical negligence, or suffocation by gas. The Khiam prison remained a testament to the struggle of a people until the 2006 war. The IOF, in an attempt to erase their crimes, bombarded the torture center, reducing it to ruins (media 3,4 part 2). Despite all their attempts, the electrical pole where they tortured the prisoners and two of them were martyred, as well as a cell used for torture, remained (media 5,6,7 part 2). The memories of the freed resisters, children of the land, remained. The voice of Rani Bazzi, who screamed on May 23, 2000, when he was liberated and continued to resist until he was martyred in 2006, in the same war where the enemy attempted to erase his past, still lingers on top of the rubble (media 8, part 2). We bear witness. Every victory that is not documented may be lost. The scenes of liberation at Khiam prison not only document the victory but also make us feel as if we are living it, moment by moment, breaking into the torture prison where the occupiers fled, to free our prisoners (media 1, part 2). It makes us long for this moment in Palestine. Last year, RNN wrote: "Khiam reminds us that #FreeThemAll is not a lofty dream or an empty promise to be replaced with compromise. The freedom of all prisoners—from the colonial prisons of the zionist entity, the dungeons of the comprador Authority, and the prisons of Europe, America, and the Arab world—is a reality that will be enforced through armed resistance and popular revolt." On October 7th, the resistance enforced that reality through armed resistance, backed by the popular cradle, with their first demand being our prisoners, reiterating: "If the prisoner is lost, the nation is lost." 210 prisoners have been freed in the November exchange batches. We await the moment where all of our prisoners shall be free. Khiam teaches us that the liberation of our prisoners is inevitable. It is a promise, because our people and their resistance pledged to keep it. As the liberation of the prisoners in southern Lebanon on the 23rd of May 2000 announced the liberation of the land two days later, today we affirm that the freedom of our prisoners has begun, announcing: the liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea, has begun.

Freedom for Ahmed Sa'adat and all Palestinian prisoners! 22 years ago today, PFLP Secretary-General Ahmed Sa'adat was kidnapped by the forces of the comprador PA for "incitement," following a speech in which he said, "We do not deserve respect unless our motto is: An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, and a head for a head." He was referencing the killing of zionist minister Rehavam Ze'evi on the glorious October 17th of 2001, carried out in revenge for the assassination of martyred PFLP leader Abu Ali Mustafa. Sa'adat was held in the infamous Areeha prison of the Palestinian Authority, where the PA placed him under watch of US, British, and Canadian guards, lackeys of the zionist occupation. In fact, it was the fourth time that he was held in PA prisons, out of 11 total arrests since 1968. Months later, as part of the traitorous PA's "sacred security coordination," he was handed over by the Palestinian Authority to the zionist prisons from which he continues to lead the PFLP and release statements urging unity and international solidarity, leading hunger strikes even in solitary confinement. In May 2023, he was returned to solitary confinement, then arbitrarily transferred. He and all prisoners have faced abuse since October 7th. Then and now, the PA continues to suppress resistance. From Ahmed Sa'adat to Musab Shtayyeh and Khader Adnan, the PA kidnaps and attacks community leaders, activists, students, and fighters who successfully organize to oppose zionism. Today, freedom for Ahmed Sa'adat and all prisoners nears, as the call to #FreeThemAll, from the prisons of the zionist occupation and the traitorous PA, is being realized by the armed resistance.

"We raise our children to love Palestine and to love those who love Palestine, to love the resistance and the resistance fighters." Imprisoned PIJ leader Sheikh Maher Al-Akhras gave the attached interview on November 14th of last year, displaying his love for the resistance, its axis, and the land and how his children inherit this conscience. Behind him, martyrs Hajj Qassem Soleimani and PIJ founder FathiShaqaqi, for whom we have to thank for the resistance's tunnel system and today's resistance movement, respectively. Today, Maher Al-Akhras, who was always side by side with Sheikh Khader Adnan, faces baseless charges and intentional court delays after numerous hunger strikes. When asked "What is the best way to liberate the prisoners?," Sheikh Maher answers that he hopes it will look like the liberation of prisoners in southern Lebanon, but that the best way "is through kidnapping more soldiers and officers of the occupation." #FreeThemAll

Imprisoned leader Sheikh Maher Al-Akhras sent a message from his cell to Al-Manar, a channel that is part of the resistance media network, from "a steadfast people that will not be broken." Sheikh Maher expresses his confidence in the impending victory, taking lessons from the victory of Lebanon when the heroes of the south expelled the zionist occupation and wiped their noses in the dust again just a few years later. Maher is a firm believer in the unity of the resistance and the approach of the resistance axis, as can be seen in the linked videos: "We raise our children to love Palestine and to love those who love Palestine, to love the resistance and the resistance fighters." "They are trying to silence me, just as they silenced Sheikh Khader Adnan." Maher faces repeated assassination threats from the the zionist prison service. 10 days ago, Sheikh Maher suspended his hunger strike on the 23rd day after baseless charges were brought against him. His court session is set for October 26th. #FreeThemAll

🚨Kayed Fasfous is in danger. His daughter Jowan released this video today demanding support for her father's release on his 52nd day of hunger strike in protest of his administrative detention without charge or trial. Kayed's health is seriously deteriorating and he faces the risk of martyrdom at any moment. His health is especially sensitive given that this is his fourth hunger strike, including his victorious 131-day-long strike in 2021. In the video, Kayed is shown during his 2021 hunger strike thanking the efforts of all those who supported his struggle, asking for support for the entire prisoners' struggle. A few days ago, zionist courts rejected his appeal request, and transferred him two a new prison instead of a clinic as part of policy of arbitrary punishment. #FreeThemAll

Khalil Awawdeh, freed today, spoke previously about understanding the magnitude of sacrifice of those on the front lines of struggle, whether they are on the battlefields of camp alleys, checkpoints, or prisons. "You should always feel the pain of those who sacrifice for you and those who defend your dignity." Our prisoners defend our collective dignity, both martyr Sheikh Khader Adnan and Khalil Awawdeh recognizing that dignity can only be extracted by force. #FreeThemAll

A martyr, a prisoner, and wounded: the Turkman operation. Today marks the one year anniversary of the heroic Jordan Valley operation of September 2022 that targeted a bus of IOF soldiers, injuring seven of them. Maher Turkman, his son Mohammed, and his nephew Mohammed Walid carefully planned a daring operation, travelling from Jenin to Areeha to execute it. Maher used his car to stop the bus on Route 90, giving the signal to his son and nephew to start pumping fuel on the bus in order to burn it while opening fire on it. During the operation, the two Mohammeds were severely burned, but were able to wound seven zionist soldiers in the process. The Mohammeds were abducted by zionist forces, and Mohammed Maher ascended to martyrdom six days later as a result of his casualties. 90% of his body was burned, and his arm was amputated; the martyr's body was returned in June of this year. Mohammed Walid stayed in a coma for two months and suffers from medical neglect in zionist prisons. As for Maher, he was able to evade capture for nine months, earning him the nickname "the sheikh of the wanted." He was arrested on May 25th of this year. In this time, his family was subjected to repression and he continued to make appearances in Jenin at the funerals of martyrs. Glory to the heroic family that broke the illusion of security. #FreeThemAll

"We raise our children to love Palestine and to love those who love Palestine, to love the resistance and the resistance fighters." Imprisoned PIJ leader Maher Al-Akhras enters his eleventh day of a hunger strike that began at the moment of his arrest after facing baseless charges and intentional delays. The occupation seeks to assassinate this giant of resistance, who was side by side with martyr Sheikh Khader Adnan. Sheikh Maher suffers today as a result of his victorious 103-day hunger strike in 2020. Sheikh Maher Al-Akhras gave the attached interview on November 14th of last year, displaying his love for the resistance, its axis, and the land and how his children inherit this conscience. Behind him, martyrs Hajj Qassem Soleimani and PIJ founder FathiShaqaqi. 🚨"I will not eat, even if they cut off my head." Today, the occupation courts, have extended imprisoned PIJ leader Maher Al-Akhras' detention by a week for the second time. Steadfast, Sheikh Maher continues his hunger strike for the eighth day. Sheikh Maher continues on the path of martyr Sheikh Khader Adnan, who recognized that dignity can only be taken by force, through the battle of empty intestines. The IOF's decision to kidnap freed prisoner and long-time hunger striker Maher Al-Akhras is an order to assassinate him, as was the case with martyr Khader Adnan. In a letter written by Sheikh Maher yesterday, he writes, "A zionist officer came and introduced himself and asked if I was taking any medication or anything. I told him I don't want any medication or food. He then said, 'Alright, your fate will be like Sheikh Khader; this is how we dealt with Sheikh Khader." In fact, zionist officers continue to repeat to him, "Your fate will be like Sheikh Khader." The apparent reason for Maher's kidnapping is his attendance of the event for a freed prisoner in 2019, which is impossible because Maher was imprisoned in "Gilboa" prison at the time. In this video, Sheikh Maher speaks after Sheikh Khader was martyred during his 86-day-long hunger strike. He promises that he will not eat if he is imprisoned, even if they cut off his head. Sheikh Maher is currently subjected to abuse and death threats in solitary confinement in the Jalameh interrogation center, refusing food or medical examinations, despite his health condition, which is suffering due to effects of his victorious 103-day-long hunger strike in 2020. #FreeThemAll

🚨 For the ninth time, resistance fighter and comrade Georges Ibrahim Abdallah has submitted a request for release from French prisons. Georges Abdallah is a Lebanese internationalist fighter who dedicated his life to Palestine and is the longest held political prisoner in Europe. He has been imprisoned since 1984, almost 40 years, frequently writing letters from behind colonial bars and refusing to give up his principles. He has undergone numerous hunger strikes during this time. Notably, Georges' eighth release request, which came in 2013, was accepted by the French judiciary in 2013. However, due to American pressure, the French government refused to sign his deportation papers to send him home to Lebanon. At 72 years old, the American government considered Georges a threat that "may return to the battlefield." Two years later in 2015, leaked documents revealed that Hillary Clinton ordered French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius to obstruct the judiciary's clear orders on the night that Georges was set to be released (11/01/2013) to keep him imprisoned. Georges, from his humble Lebanese village of Al-Qoubaiyat, was drawn to international revolution. He would listen to PFLP broadcasts, and soon formed and led the Lebanese Armed Revolutionary Factions. When the zionist enemy invaded Lebanon in 1982, he worked to halt the supply of weapons from Europe to the zionist entity. He was arrested in 1984 following a raid in which French police claimed that weapons that were never present were found, and he was charged for the alleged murder of a US Army officer and a zionist embassy official in Paris. Georges neither confirmed nor denied the allegations. His position was clear: the French state and its authorities are complicit in the occupation of Lebanon and Palestine. To him, the courts were theatrics to obfuscate the complicity of the US and France in the bombing of his country. Georges remains steadfast despite his imprisonment. Now is the time to call for comrade Georges' release so that he may return dignified to his home. Free them all! "Glory and eternity to the martyrs! Victory to the masses and the struggling peoples." "Yes to building a comprehensive Arab resistance front to confront normalization in all forms!" "Down with imperialism and its agents, the zionists, and Arab reactionaries!" "Together, Comrades, and only together will we win!" #FreeThemAll

🗓 Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the liberation of 144 Lebanese prisoners from the colonial Khiam prison camp and torture center just days before the zionist occupation was driven out of southern Lebanon. The prison was run by colonists and their allies since its inception. In the 1930s, it held rebels against the French occupation, and in 1985, invading zionists and the SLA turned it into a brutal torture facility. Over 5,000 Lebanese people, including 500 women like revolutionary Suha Bechara, who resisted the zionist occupation of Lebanon would be imprisoned and tortured at Khiam by electrocution, waterboarding, and other brutal methods. The liberation of Khiam prison was a critical aspect of expulsion of zionists from southern Lebanon and its consequent liberation. Khiam and its prisoners were not freed by any one army, but the whole of Lebanese armed resistance that swiftly toppled the zionists in 2000. In a moment of triumph, the liberated stormed the prison and raucous cries of joy were heard as loved ones were reunited. 3,000 people stormed the prison on this day, breaking the locks of the prison with axes, crowbars, and their bare hands while those running the prison fled over the colonial border into occupied Palestine. Khiam reminds us that #FreeThemAll is not a lofty dream or an empty promise to be replaced with compromise. The freedom of all prisoners—from the colonial prisons of the zionist entity, the dungeons of the comprador Authority, and the prisons of Europe, America, and the Arab world—is a reality that will be enforced through armed resistance and popular revolt. The zionist entity is not impervious to the will of the people waging a righteous struggle, and when it falls, Palestinians will fill the land uncontested to free their imprisoned brothers and sisters.
