Για την συνεργασία της Ευρασιατικής Οικονομικής Ένωσης (#EAEU) στον παραγωγικό τομέα: 🔹Ο Πρόεδρος της Ρωσίας Βλαντίμιρ Πούτιν επισήμανε την ανάγκη ανάπτυξης της βιομηχανικής συνεργασίας και αύξησης των κοινών παραγωγών με τη κοινή μάρκα "Made in EAEU". Το αποτέλεσμα της συνεργασίας έχουν ήδη γίνει πολλές υψηλά τεχνολογικές εφευρέσεις, που παρουσιάστηκαν στην έκθεση "Innoprom. Καζακστάν", η οποία πραγματοποιείται από τις 25 έως τις 27 Σεπτεμβρίου στην Αστάνα. Επί του παρόντος στην EAEU υλοποιούνται πάνω από 150 τέτοια έργα στους 25 τομείς με συνολική αξία να ξεπερνάει 26 τρισ. ρούβλια. 🔸Το τέλος του περασμένου έτους οι επικεφαλής των "πέντε" αποφάσισαν να δημιουργηθεί ένας μηχανισμός χρηματοδότησης βιομηχανικών πρωτοβουλιών από το προϋπολογισμό της Ένωσης. Η βασική προϋπόθεση είναι τουλάχιστον τρεις χώρες πρέπει να συμμετέχουν στα κοινά έργα. Τα κριτήρια επιλογής προγραμματίζονται να εγκριθούν τον Οκτώβριο στη συνεδρίαση του Ευρασιατικού Διακυβερνητικού Συμβουλίου.

⚡️Meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council Key talking points from the speech of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin: 💬 Cooperation continues to strengthen within the #EAEU, which is consistently asserting itself as one of the independent and self-sufficient centres of the emerging multipolar world. 🔹 Our continuing efforts to build integration dictate the need to strengthen, develop and modernise the supranational tools and institutions we have created, primarily the Economic Commission, which must be able to provide quick and proper responses to changes around the world and to make professional decisions aimed at protecting our common interests and promoting mutually beneficial integration. ☝️ The EAEU should expand relations with countries that are seeking equal and mutually beneficial partnership. I am talking about our partners in Asia, the Arab world, Africa, and Latin America. I mean cooperation with multilateral associations like the CIS, the SCO, BRICS and other associations. 🔹 It is important to continue to form free trade areas with interested countries and, among other things, to encourage them to jointly use the international transaction infrastructure available to the five member-countries in national currencies and the digital currencies of the central banks. ❗️ I am confident that by continuing to act as a team, we will certainly achieve new tangible results in promoting integration cooperation in the interests of our states and peoples.

❗️From April 3 to April 5 the first round of negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and 🇮🇩 Indonesia was held in Jakarta. 📈📌At year-end 2022, mutual trade between the #EAEU and 🇮🇩 increased by 58% compared to 2021.

🗓May 29 marks the #EAEU Day. 🔹️Since the EAEU’s foundation, its member states have achieved visible results in promoting integration, with the internal market on the rise, steadily growing mutual trade and widened geography of international contacts. ❗️#ASEAN is one of the most important partners for the EAEU. Based on the MoU between the Eurasian Economic Commission and ASEAN and relevant Programme of cooperation the two regional organizations steadfastly promote multifaceted mutually beneficial relations. 🔹️Since 2018 the St.Petersburg International Economic Forum is hosting an annual EAEU-ASEAN Business Dialogue. 🔹️In 2024 the EAEU-ASEAN Business Dialogue was held twice - on the margins of the 27th St.Petersburg International Economic Forum 🇷🇺 in June and the International business forum "World of Opportunities: Russia-ASEAN" in Malaysia 🇲🇾 in November. 🔹️In 2023 the EAEU Days were held at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta. The event included Exhibition, Food Festival highlighting the national cuisines of the EAEU Member States and 2 round tables "Strengething ASEAN-EAEU Ties: the Role of Business Communities" and "EAEU and ASEAN Economic Agenda: Overlapping Interests". 📌The Memorandum of Understanding between the EEC and ASEAN on Economic Cooperation was signed on November 14, 2018 in Singapore. To implement the Memorandum, a Cooperation Program for 2020–2025 was adopted. It covers such areas as customs legislation and law enforcement practice, trade policy, entrepreneurship, technical and antimonopoly regulation, SPS measures, energy, functioning of domestic markets, and others. 🤝The EAEU also pays special attention to strengthening ties with ASEAN Member States on the bilateral basis. Free trade agreement of the EAEU is in force with Vietnam 🇻🇳. The trade talks with Indonesia 🇮🇩 are nearing completion.

🗓 On November 21, Round table “EAEU and ASEAN Economic Agenda: Overlapping Interests” that gathered high-ranking government officials and prominent experts of the #EAEU and #ASEAN Member States, took place at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta 🇮🇩 within the framework of the EAEU Days. 📢On 14 November 2018 ASEAN-Russia relations were elevated to a Strategic Partnership. In his article "ASEAN-Russia: Strengthening ties and exploring new horizons" Russian Ambassador to ASEAN H.E. Mr. Evgeny Zagaynov 🇷🇺 sums up the progress achieved throughout these 5 years. 💬 The platform of our Strategic Partnership has opened new wider opportunities for developing stronger, deeper and mutually beneficial relations and building a peaceful, stable, prosperous and integrated region. This July, the foreign ministers of ASEAN Member States and Russia noted the significant contribution of the ASEAN-Russia relations to the ASEAN integration and community-building process. 🔹️New avenues of collaboration, such as the Consultations of the High Representatives for Security Issues and Dialogue on ICT Security-Related Issues, have become important channels of communication, facilitating cooperation on contemporary security matters. In 2021, we held the first-ever ASEAN-Russia naval exercise. In 2022, the consultations on tourism were elevated to the ministerial level and earlier this year we convened the inaugural ASEAN-Russia Ministerial Meeting on Science, Technology and Innovation. Russia's expertise in digitalization, robotics, quantum technologies and artificial intelligence was shared with ASEAN partners during the ASEAN-Russia Year of Scientific and Technical Cooperation in 2022. 🔹️Since 2018, Russia has tripled its investment in the region, showcasing the growing economic ties. Collaborative projects in such areas as supply chain resilience, digital economy, sustainable development and creative economy are being carried out. 🔹️Given the growing energy demand in Southeast Asia, there is an immense potential for collaboration in this field, including clean energy technologies, nuclear energy and alternative energy sources. 🔹️We successfully continue to implement various educational and personnel-training projects for ASEAN, nurturing expertise and fostering cultural understanding, including programs for law-enforcement experts, epidemiologists, tour operators and other. 🔻Today is also another important anniversary, five years ago, the Memorandum of Understanding between ASEAN and the Eurasian Economic Commission was signed. Developing closer economic interaction between #ASEAN and the #EAEU holds potential for a synergy that can contribute to sustainable development in Asia and provides outstanding opportunities for member states of both organizations. 🇷🇺🤝🇻🇳 In Beijing, President Vladimir Putinmet with President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong. 💬 Vladimir Putin: The relations between our countries are developing in a traditionally friendly atmosphere. 🤝 Next year will mark the 30th Anniversary of the backbone document between our countries, the Treaty on Principles of Friendly Relations. It was signed in June 1994. But the relations between Russia and Vietnam have deeper roots and there is no need to say how close our peoples are and how this connection was formed in the previous decades. In the beginning of our meeting, I would like to speak about the foundation of our relations, the foundation of relations between any countries, which is trade and economic ties. 📈 This year, there is a trend towards improvement, and the growth in the first half of this year was over 6 percent. A joint intergovernmental commission is working to make trade ties develop at the pace we need. From the Russian side, it is headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, who is also present here. Since 2015, a free trade agreement between the #EAEU and Vietnam has been in force, and I believe that its potential has not been fully unlocked yet. Cultural ties are also developing. In this regard, I would like to note a very important issue that symbolises our relations: the unveiling of a monument to comrade Ho Chi Minh in St Petersburg on June 30. The unveiling was to mark the 100th anniversary of his first visit to Russia’s northern capital. The Russian Culture Days in Vietnam were also successfully held in July. Of course, we are also actively cooperating on the global stage. I am sure that this meeting will be efficient, constructive and fruitful. #RussiaVietnam
