Uniswap approves UNIfication proposal, including $591M UNI token burn UNIfication proposal activates protocol fee switch. This redirects a portion of trading fees — previously allocated entirely to liquidity providers — directly to the protocol, which will burn $UNI tokens on an ongoing basis.
