Optimism [OP] will redirect 50% of protocol revenue to buybacks via OTC $OP holders voted to approve a proposal that redirect protocol revenue to token buybacks. The Optimism Foundation first floated the buyback idea earlier this month, as part of a plan "to align the OP token" with the Superchain. In its proposal, the foundation noted the Superchain generated around 5,868 ETH ($17.5M), in revenue last year.
