Tether retreats from $20B funding ambitions after investor pushback According to FT, Tether has scaled back its planned $15–20B fundraising after investor pushback over a $500B valuation, with advisers now discussing a raise as small as $5B. CEO Paolo Ardoino said the larger figure was only a maximum the company was willing to sell, and that Tether would be comfortable not raising capital at all. The firm made about $10B in profit last year, mainly from USDT reserve returns. 🔗ft.com/content/3f7f0306-4bc2-43e1-8370-ea251229e5b6 @TOP7ICO
