Kalshi & Polymarket Eye $20B Valuations - Prediction Markets Compared Prediction markets have quietly become one of the most consequential sectors in crypto - and beyond. Kalshi signed a deal with CNBC, while Dow Jones partnered with Polymarket to bring prediction market data into The Wall Street Journal and MarketWatch. $OPN listed on March 5 and is now trading at an FDV of ~$293M. After briefly touching $0.57 in pre-market, the token dropped over 20%. The bigger question is what comes next. If Kalshi and Polymarket close their rounds at $20B, the pressure on both to launch tokens grows significantly Polymarket has already filed trademark applications for $POLY.
