Italy, Varone Waterfall🇮🇹 Located just three kilometers from Riva del Garda, in the small Cascade Cave Park Varone, you can find one of the impressive natural wonders of Upper Garda — Varone Waterfall. 💦 Its discovery dates back to the distant year of 1874, and it was a significant event in the life of the city. The opening ceremony was attended by local authorities, as well as King John of Saxony and the future King of Montenegro, Nicholas. 👑🎉 Varone Waterfall is a true geological rarity. This natural gorge was formed over 20,000 years by underground waters from Lake Tenno, cascading from a height of 98 meters. Above the entrance to the park, there is a plaque that states that there are many waterfalls in the world, but it is rare for water to carve a passage through stone, as it happened in Varone.
