Germany, Quedlinburg🇩🇪 The city of the first monarch of the East Frankish kingdom from the Saxon dynasty is one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in Europe. Quedlinburg boasts around 1,300 half-timbered buildings from different eras of European architecture, the oldest of which was constructed in 1289. 🏰🏙 Largely undamaged during World War II, the city, whose historic architecture was poorly cared for during the GDR era, is now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. #Germany @voyage
