📍Australia, Moreton Island 🇦🇺 The Real "Shipwreck Graveyard". The history behind one of Australia's most visited attractions turns out to be quite prosaic: in the mid-1960s, local boat owners requested the creation of an artificial bay for anchorages. 🛳⚓ To implement this project, a total of 15 decommissioned ships were towed to the island's shore and sunk as a natural breakwater. Over the years, the vessels have seamlessly integrated into the resort's paradise landscape — rusty metalwork has become covered with algae, forming a rich ecosystem with a plethora of coral fish species. #Australia @voyage
