📍India🇮🇳 These beautiful pink and white flamingos arrive in the Indian city of Mumbai every winter in November and December and stay until the onset of the rains. For many years, these migratory birds have settled throughout the city. 🌸🦩 In August 2015, the Maharashtra State Revenue and Forest Department established the Flamingo Sanctuary in the northern part of the Thane Creek (between the cities of Navi Mumbai and Mumbai). The sanctuary spans an area of 1,690 hectares, of which 896 hectares are mangrove forests and 794 hectares are aquatic spaces. 🌿💧 For bird watching, you can join a tour during which tourists explore about 10 km of mangrove thickets by boat. 🚤🌳 #India @voyage
