🗺 Italy 🇮🇹 Strada della Forra (SP38), which translates from Italian as "road over the gorge," is a mountain highway running along the slopes of the mountains near Lake Garda. It leads through the Brasa River Gorge and climbs the steep hills to Tremosine. With its narrow tunnels and sharp turns, Strada della Forra connects nearly isolated mountain villages. After its opening in 1913, the newspaper Frankfurter Zeitung called it "the most beautiful road in the world," and Winston Churchill declared it "the eighth wonder of the world." #Italy @voyage
