A second video from the same date and city shows riot police shooting two fleeing protesters at point-blank range, reportedly killing them.

🇮🇷#Iran: Another video has surfaced, dated January 9th, from the city of Mashhad. Footage shows crowds of protesters attempting to take cover and retreating as shots are fired towards them. At the end of the footage, a group of people carry a wounded man who was presumably shot by Iranian security forces.
🇮🇷#Iran: CCTV footage dated January 8th shows some of the first violent crackdowns against protesters in Tehran.
In the video, an IRGC member is seen wrestling a young girl to the ground. While holding a machete, he kicks her in the head before she is beaten further and dragged away by her hair by another officer.
According to available footage and reports, that night marked a shift in the regime’s tactics against protesters, with widespread use of lethal force against civilians. Reports indicate that hundreds were killed by gunfire just on that night alone.

🇮🇷#Iran: Footage allegedly from January 19th shows protesters setting fire to a Basij base after freeing prisoners held inside.
The building was left empty after Basij forces retreated when protesters stormed the site. Food left behind by the security forces was thrown in front of the building, as protesters chanted: “This is the end of the Basij".

The footage shows a crowd chanting before a sudden burst of gunfire erupts, with shots ringing out close to the person filming. The video is allegedly dated January 8th in Tehran.
Reports indicate that hundreds of people were gunned down during that night.

🇮🇷#Iran: Footage from last week’s protests in Iran which has surfaced recently after being delayed by a total internet blackout imposed by the Iranian government.
1. A video filmed on Piroozi Street in Tehran with gunfire echoing through the area. The man recording the video says: “People, pray for us. They’re shooting us with live bullets.” This was one of the first recorded instances of live fire in these protests.
2. Footage showing the aftermath after Iranian “security forces” torched market stalls around Rasht’s Bazaar.
3. Disturbing footage showing families grieving after discovering their sons’ bodies in an improvised morgue in Kahrizak, Tehran, after they were reportedly killed by the IRGC.
