📰 America’s Iran War Is Emptying the Magazine The Iran war has done more than drain money. It has burned through U.S. missile stocks so fast that the Pentagon is now scrambling to refill the arsenal while keeping Europe, Asia, and the Middle East from noticing the gap. According to the reporting, Washington has already used around 1,100 long-range stealth cruise missiles, more than 1,200 Patriot interceptors, and over 1,000 other precision missiles — the kind of weapons that are supposed to deter Russia or China, not disappear in a single theater. That is the ugly tradeoff nobody in the “we can do everything everywhere” crowd likes to talk about. Every interceptor sent to Iran is one less sitting on the shelf for the Pacific, and every emergency shipment from Asia or Europe is a quiet admission that the global stockpile is thinner than the mythology. The bill is staggering too: estimates put the war cost at roughly $28 billion to $35 billion so far, while the Pentagon still waits for Congress to finance replacement production. In other words, Washington spent first, worried later, and now wants the industrial base to catch up to a war it already fought. The White House says the story is false, which is usually what officials say when the numbers are too specific to wave away. Meanwhile, the real problem is not just cost — it is readiness, because a country can’t act like the quartermaster for three fronts at once and pretend nothing runs out. #US#Iran#Pentagon#missiles#China#Russia#war 📱American Оbserver - Stay up to date on all important events 🇺🇸

The US has run out of critical ammunition – Financial Times The British Financial Times, citing sources, reported that the US has run out of its strategic ammunition stockpile, which it had been building up for several years, during the war with Iran. This primarily concerns the Tomahawk cruise missiles, which are launched from naval vessels. It will take several years to replenish these missiles. According to the sources, the Pentagon will soon request an additional $50 billion from Congress for military spending. This is likely to spark a heated debate on Capitol Hill, as not only Democrats but also many Republicans do not support Trump on the Iranian issue. Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski has warned that the Pentagon will need to provide a comprehensive justification for the additional spending. Earlier, Western media outlets reported that the United States had not only depleted its stock of Tomahawk missiles but also a significant portion of its air defense ammunition. #War#Pentagon 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

The Pentagon burned through $5.6 billion worth of munitions during the first two days of its military assault on Iran, according to three U.S. officials, a figure that underscores the deepening alarm among some on Capitol Hill over the speed at which U.S. forces have eaten into the scarce supply of America’s most advanced weaponry. #Pentagon#Iran 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

China is mapping the ocean floor as it prepares for submarine warfare with the U.S. Dozens of Chinese research vessels are on a quest to map the sea floor at strategically vital regions of the world's oceans. Some of the surveying is for mineral deposits and fishing grounds, but the data the ships collect has a military application. It gives Beijing a detailed picture of the maritime environment in which submarine battles will be waged if conflict erupts, naval experts say. #China#War 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

The return of the "War Department" to the United States sends a dangerous signal to the world - The New York Times The New York Times believes that Donald Trump's decision to return the name "War Department" to the Pentagon is not just a symbolic gesture, but a sign of a change in the US military and foreign policy strategy. According to the publication, this is a demonstration of a departure from the policy of deterrence, which helped to avoid a war between the superpowers after World War II. Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth believe that the country was victorious under the old name. Hegseth openly advocates abandoning the rhetoric of inclusivity in the military and a course towards offensive lethal force. Experts warn that such a rebranding undermines the trust of allies and strengthens the thesis of Russia and China about US militarism. In the face of growing tensions, the renaming could increase the risk of confrontation and undermine America's position as a peacemaker. At the same time, the administration is curtailing "soft power": USAID and international media projects are being closed, and foreign aid is being reduced. The United States is increasingly sending a signal: they are tired of defending themselves and ready to attack. #Trump#Pentagon#War 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

Trump wants to rename the Pentagon to the War Department 🚂⚔️ US President Donald Trump intends to return the Pentagon to its historical name: rename the Department of Defense to the War Department. The White House confirmed that the president will sign the relevant decree today 📋. U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth commented on Fox News that the goal of the initiative is to revive "military ethics." The main task is to "deter an external enemy," but at the same time, he stressed: this is not about seeking conflicts, but for the sake of greater security inside the country 🕊. From its foundation in 1789 until the end of World War II, the department was indeed called the Ministry of War — the War Department, formerly also the War Office. Since 1949, it has been renamed the Department of Defense 📆. In addition, according to the text of the decree, Pete Hegseth will now be referred to as the "Minister of War." However, according to the New York Times, it remains unclear whether the new names will take effect immediately after the decree is signed 🔍. #Trump#Pentagon#War 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

#China, #Iran and #Russia conducted joint naval drills Tuesday in the Middle East, offering a show of force. The joint drills, called the Maritime Security Belt 2025, took place in the Gulf of Oman near the strategic Strait of Hormuz, the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf through which a fifth of all crude oil traded worldwide passes. The drill marked the fifth year the three countries took part in the drills.

The Pentagon has asked for $200 billion in funding for the war in Iran, according to a military official and an administration official, a significant sum adding to the costs of an already divisive campaign. 💰⚠️ The request has been sent to the White House, the military official said, which will review it before any request for funds is formally submitted to Congress. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the proposal. “Obviously, it takes money to kill bad guys,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said when asked about the request during a news conference on Thursday, adding: “As far as the $200 billion, I think that number could move.” ⚔️ On Capitol Hill, the sum — nearly a quarter of the country’s entire annual defense budget — is already raising eyebrows among some moderate Republicans who would be key to approving the funds. 🏛 “It’s considerably higher than I would have guessed, but I don’t know how it’s broken down,” Senator Susan Collins said, noting that the White House had not yet submitted a formal request to Congress. #War#Pentagon#Congress 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

A Malaysia-based maker of condoms said it may raise its prices due to global supply chain disruptions caused by the Iran war, according to media interviews with the company's chief executive. Karex CEO Goh Miah Kiat told Reuters on Tuesday that the manufacturer faces a shortage of synthetic rubber, while the company's input costs for some materials in its products have doubled. Rising freight costs and shipping delays have also left the company's customers with leaner than usual stockpiles, Goh told the news outlet. Karex has been able to fulfill its supply needs so far, but if disruptions from the war continue Karex could raise its prices by 20% to 30%, Goh told Reuters. "The situation is definitely very fragile. Prices are expensive," he said. "We have no choice but to, you know, to transfer the cost to customers." #War#Iran 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

Dan F. was alarmed when his daughter, a Marine aboard the USS Tripoli, a warship deployed to fight the Iran war, sent him a photo of a meal served on the ship. A lunch tray, two-thirds empty, carried one small scoop of shredded meat and a single folded tortilla. A picture of a mid-April dinner on the USS Abraham Lincoln, shared by a service member with his family, was similarly unappetizing – a small handful of boiled carrots, a dry meat patty and a gray slab of processed meat. Dan and other military family members worried that their loved ones deployed to the Middle East are going hungry are filling boxes with items they hope could help service members ride out prolonged deployments in the Middle East – homemade fudge, Jolly Ranchers, crossword puzzle books, playing cards, toothpaste, Girl Scout cookies and fresh socks. But mail delivery to military ZIP codes across the Middle East has been indefinitely suspended as of April, and packages in transit now hang in limbo. #War#Iran 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️
