🇷🇺Russia has accumulated considerable experience in assisting friendly states in the creation and development of sustainable school feeding systems. For over 10 years the UN World Food Program has been our main international partner in this area. Implemented with Russian expert & financial participation, WFP projects are focused on assisting to elaborate national programs for school meals development, refitting school canteens with new equipment, organizing the supply of quality food, training cooks, and introducing modern methods of provision children with a balanced and healthy diet. The most large-scale projects are being implemented in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan & Tajikistan. In 2020, similar initiatives were launched with #WFP for Nicaragua, Cuba & Jordan. Since 2022, we have expanded the geography of assistance to the Asia-Pacific region (#Cambodia🇰🇭, #Laos🇱🇦 & Sri Lanka). 🤝Russia will continue constructive interaction with the WFP to provide assistance to countries in need and ensure global food security.
