🗓On 27 April 2023 in Moscow, on the sidelines of the 11th ARF OESG Russia 🇷🇺 and Indonesia 🇮🇩 held bilateral consultations on International Information Security (IIS) on directors' level. Experts from the relevant line agencies of the two countries also took part in the meeting. 🔹️The consultations demonstrated the proximity of the approaches of Russia and Indonesia to the IIS. The negotiations were focused on prospects for further cooperation within specialized international platforms, primarily the UN (Open-Ended Working Group on security of and in the use of ICTs 2021-2025, Ad-Hoc Committee to elaborate a comprehensive international convention on combating the use of ICTs for criminal purposes) and regional mechanisms. 🔹️The parties reiterated their intention to further promote the #ASEANRussia Dialogue on ICT Security-related issues and bilateral cooperation in accordance with the relevant Intergovernmental Agreement of 2021.
