🇫🇷 Nine people have been arrested in Lyon over the fatal beating of 23-year-old student Quentin Deranque, who died two days after being attacked by masked assailants. Among those detained is Jacques-Elie Favrot, a parliamentary assistant to an MP from La France Insoumise (LFI), the party led by Jean-Luc Mélenchon. Prosecutors say Deranque was punched and kicked in the head by at least six individuals, suffering fatal skull and brain injuries.
