OKAC Anti-Mosque Demonstration In light of the absurd proposal to build a 15 acre Islamic Center in South Broken Arrow OK, and after the secretive maneuverings of the BA city council to change the time and location on which this matter was to be voted on, OKAC went to work! Our boys divided into several teams and dispersed throughout the crowded event to personally distribute flyers, engage in conversation with supportive citizens, and shine light on the core problem with the proposed mosque's construction, the displacement of Americans in their own hometowns. The effort proved successful at the 11th hour after the Council abruptly ended the open forum and called for a vote. With pressure mounting and the zoning obviously making little sense, the Islamic organization's petition to construct the mosque was DENIED by a vote of 4 to 1.
