📈 Price volatility is an unwritten standart in crypto and TON's smooth growth comes as a surprise for the newcomers, nevertheless this is the way how the original founders saw the blockchain future. Smooth and predictable growth allows to build long-term plans and keep fees low (which, however, can be adjusted by validator voting in case of a sharp rate hike) — this is especially important in the context of TON's desire for mass adoption and the team developing the blockchain understands this perfectly well. Volatility and unstable rates are useful for traders, but in reality most of these trades are more like a casino game, especially when they are not backed by knowledge and strategy. The real benefit and profitability should come from blockchain-based products, and here we come back to creating an enabling environment — it's hard to make long-term plans if the price of the underlying coin changes by thousands of percent every quarter. ⚡️In July 2021, when the TON Foundation team started rebuilding the blockchain, was created a master key that allows to change blockchain's configuration settings in case of emergency. Today, the master key has been removed from the blockchain, it's another step towards full decentralization and transparency.

And TON Core developers are alreadyworking on integrating a native stablecoin. On other popular networks, you always need to have a native coin on your balance to use such coins, such as TRX to send USDT TRC20. This complicates the process considerably, imagine if you always needed to have a small amount of British pounds anytime you want to pay with dollars. Next year there are plans to launch a special smart contract for one of the popular stablecoins that will allow transactions without paying commissions in TON.
