🇩🇪20 million air passengers in Germany could be affected by flight cancellations due to a shortage of kerosene, reports the German newspaper WELT, citing the head of the German Airports Association, Ralph Baezler. Baezler believes that due to the fuel crisis and the shortage of kerosene caused by the war with Iran, civil air transport could become unprofitable and face cuts. "The best-case scenario for 2026 is stagnation for passengers. In the worst case, some airports face a 10 percent drop in capacity. Extrapolated to all airports, 20 million passengers will be affected," Baezler believes. The publication notes that fuel costs are traditionally high in the air transport sector. In normal times, they account for 30% of all company expenses, and the additional increase in these prices makes transportation unprofitable. Due to these same problems, the popular low-cost airline Spirit Airlines recently ceased its operations in America.

Its construction began immediately after the end of the war by decision of the Military Council of the 1st Belorussian Front in memory of the Soviet soldiers and officers who fell in the bloody battles to capture the city. The monument's unveiling took place on November 11, 1945. #Victory81#Germany#Berlin
