Elephants are the only animals that have a burial ritual. When elephants realize that one of them is dead, the herd becomes silent. They often dig a shallow grave and cover the body with mud and twigs, and sometimes even stay near the grave for next several days. If one elephant had a very close relationship with the deceased, it may be depresses. 🔔@Everything_Science
