JUST NOW: Department of Justice has indicted former senior adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci for allegedly concealing records on COVID-19. David Morens, 78, has been charged with conspiracy against the United States; destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; concealment, removal, or mutilation of records; and aiding and abetting. Starting in 2014, Morens oversaw a grant from NIH to the non-profit EcoHealth Alliance, which funneled US taxpayer money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research. Morens used a private email to conduct government business and asked a FOIA liaison for the National Institutes of Health for tips on how to evade records requests. He wrote in an email in 2021, “always communicate on gmail because my NIH email is FOIA’d constantly” as well as “delete anything I don’t want to see in the New York Times.” Join ➡️@ShankaraChetty

Update on the peaceful protest for a fair trial for lawyer Dr Reiner Füllmich, a German and Californian barrister. The demonstration is held in front of the German Embassy in The Hague (Groot Hertoginnelaan 20) on May 6th; we are gathering at 13h. More than 15,000 people (and counting) have signed the international openPetition https://www.openpetition.de/petition/online/demand-independent-inquiry-immediate-release-of-dr-reiner-fuellmich-2/unterschreiben/personal calling for an independent investigation into Dr Reiner Füllmich's case and for his immediate release. In The Hague a Dutch initiative to an international petition https://www.freereinerfuellmich.org/ calling for the humane treatment and immediate release of Dr Reiner Füllmich and securing more than 74,000 signatures, is added to the openPetition and both are handed over to the embassy on 6 May. This is a strong message to the German government, we demand that the principle and embodiment of law and order be a reliable institution for Justice. We are in fact at a crossroads; one road leading to transparency and justice, the other to obstructed justice and something that bears a striking resemblance to propaganda. Ours is a peaceful demonstration for truth and justice. We will not disturb the staff at the embassy whilst they are working, and so we will not make any noise. Silence is often much more powerful than making noise. The event is organised to mark Reiner Füllmich's birthday (5 May). Given the commemorative and liberation celebrations taking place in the Netherlands, it was decided to present the signatures to the embassy on 6 May.

Last week, allied forces from several countries arrived. The Swedish-led exercise Aurora 26 has now begun. In total, the exercise involves 18,000 soldiers from 13 countries and is being conducted across large parts of Sweden between April 27 and May 13, 2026. The exercise aims to strengthen defence capabilities in cooperation with allies and to practice responding to a rapidly emerging and serious military threat. It includes all branches of the armed forces as well as the Home Guard and serves as a test of operational plans in a pre-war scenario.
