The film is currently in development and will be an adaptation of Tessa Bailey's bestselling novel of the same name. Directed by Peter Hutchings, with a screenplay by Christina Mengert and Joseph Musinski, the project is produced by BCDF Pictures and handled globally by Embankment. The story relocates from glamorous Los Angeles to the small fishing town of Westport. After a high-profile scandal, socialite Piper Bellinger is forced to spend three months running her late father’s pub. There, she meets Brendan, a local fisherman who bets she won’t last a week.
