This compact Barcelona apartment has transformed into something truly special — thanks, of course, to the creative vision of a talented design team. The project was led by Forma Arquitectura, drawing inspiration from Japanese architecture and culture. “The biggest challenge was creating a duality between open spaces and rooms that could be closed off,” explain the architects. “We opted for a minimalist yet memorable interior — a principle the Japanese understand exceptionally well.” Today, the apartment is home to a couple born and raised in Barcelona, who, as we can see, carry a quiet affection and deep appreciation for Japan.
