First looks at Demna’s Gucci drop — the name La Famiglia already nods to the brand’s roots. Each model wears a name from the 'family': it-girl, La Bomba, La VIP, with a drama queen also flashing through. Every photo by Catherine Opie sits in a unique vintage frame, true to a real family tree. The lookbook opens with L’Archetipo — a travel chest monogrammed, hinting at the house’s earliest sketches. Among the references you’ll spot the Gucci Bamboo bag from 1947, given new proportions, and the legendary Horsebit loafers from 1953, also reinterpreted by the brand. You could spend hours chasing every clue; Demna has fully immersed himself in heritage, and it’s a joy to see.
