Unix Time (Unix Epoch) is the number of seconds since 1st, January 1970. Useful for computer systems to track date without timezones hassle. Today, Unix Time will reach 1600000000! Here's a countdown: $ watch -c -n 1 -t 'date && date +"%s" && echo $((1600000000 - $(date +%s)))'
