Ubuntu 25.10 has already transitioned to 'sudo-rs', which is a sudo-replacement written in Rust, for more security and safety. Today, 2 security vulnerabilities were discovered in Ubuntu 25.10 due to 'sudo-rs'. 😂 Rust makes it harder to do bugs, but not impossible of course. https://www.phoronix.com/news/sudo-rs-security-ubuntu-25.10
