Compatriots from “Otchizna” Club and CSRU Ethiopia together with their children took part in the International Action “Victory Bouquet”. Red carnations were made with their own hands as a symbol of heroism, self-sacrifice and the price that had to be paid for the victory over fascism. The carnation reminds of the importance of preserving the memory of the war and its transmission to new generations! These carnations will be part of an international flash mob that will unite 80 countries, symbolizing 80 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War. Ethiopia is the fourth country to participate in this important event. Ethiopian students attending Russian language courses at the Russian House in Addis Ababa, together with the Russian language teacher, told about the significance of the carnation as a symbol of Victory and recorded a video congratulation. Even the dates of the victory over fascism are close in our countries - in Ethiopia the Victory Day over fascist Italy is celebrated on May 5! **** Соотечественницы из Клуба «Отчизна» и КСОРС Эфиопии вместе с детьми приняли участие в Международной акции «Букет Победы». Эти гвоздики станут частью международного флешмоба, который объединит 80 стран, символизируя 80 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне. Эфиопия участвует в этом важном мероприятии под четвёртым номером. Эфиопским студентам, посещающим курсы русского языка в Русском Доме в Аддис Абебе, соотечественницы вместе с преподавателем русского языка рассказали о значении гвоздики как символа Победы и записаливидеопоздравление. В наших странах даже даты победы над фашизмом близки - в Эфиопии День Победы над фашисткой Италией отмечают 5 мая!
