Nobody for President was a joke campaign in 1976, 1980, 1984, and 1988 U.S. elections. The Yippies picked “Nobody” to run, saying no one in Washington works for the people. Wavy Gravy and Arthur Hoppe helped spread the idea with buttons and events. They even had a parade in Berkeley with no one in the limousine.
