🚘 Mercedes-Benz has topped the list of recall campaigns in Europe
The German brand announced 38 recalls for 20 models over the year, which is almost eight times more than Jaguar, which rounded out the top 20.
The second place goes to Peugeot brand with 27 recalls and 13 participating car models, the third place is occupied by BMW. The Bavarian brand recalled as many models as Mercedes-Benz (for example, 4, 5 and 6 series, as well as crossovers X3, X5 and X6 and even the latest XM), but in general, the BMW brand had 21 recall campaigns.
Also on the list were Opel, Citroen, Toyota, Ford, DS, Volkswagen and Land Rover.
P.S. The ‘recall campaign’ includes all cars produced during the period when the defective part was used (that doesn't mean it was used in every car).
