A thriving business community is built on more than good ideas – it needs the confidence to get compliance right. The stronger our relationship with businesses, the better placed we are to help them do exactly that. 🤝 Today, IRAS took another step in that direction. Our Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners hosted industry players at a luncheon engagement for an open and candid discussion, spanning four key areas: 🔹Pro-business approach through GST InvoiceNow; 🔹Tax certainty in the face of global changes; 🔹Efficient delivery of enterprise grants; and 🔹Capability building through training with the Tax Academy of Singapore. 👂 We came to listen as much as to share. The feedback we received will inform how we refine our policies, sharpen our processes, and deepen our support for businesses. This is the start of a more regular dialogue, and we look forward to continuing to build this partnership together. #LifeatIRAS#ProBusiness#OneIRAS2035

Income tax payments are due 1 month from the date of your tax bill. Access your 2026 income tax bill (Notice of Assessment) by logging in to myTax Portal with your Singpass. Not on GIRO yet? Remember to pay by the due date to avoid late payment. For added convenience, set up GIRO – payments start automatically each May. More at https://go.gov.sg/iras-giro-iit. #TaxSeason2026

💡Did you know? Not everyone pays personal income tax – it depends on how much you earn. Singapore uses a progressive tax system: tax rates start at 0% for chargeable income below $20,000 and increase as income rises. Those who earn more contribute more, making the system fairer for everyone. That spirit of fairness was at the heart of our conversations with close to 30 youths this week. The Tax Youth Network (TYN) held its second kick‑off session at the refreshed Taxpayer and Business Service Centre (TBSC), bringing together students, young professionals and aspiring tax leaders for candid conversations on Singapore’s tax system. The room buzzed with thoughtful questions, diverse perspectives and discussions on trust, fairness and the role taxes play in nation-building. The new Discovery Hub at TBSC also made its debut, creating a more open and engaging space for these conversations. We were also privileged to have our partners, Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals and the Tax Academy of Singapore, share insights on career pathways and learning opportunities in the tax ecosystem. 👉🏻 TYN is more than a network, it is a community of youth advocates shaping perspectives and driving conversations on Singapore’s tax future. Noticed GIRO payments before receiving your tax bill? Don’t worry, it’s the Provisional Instalment Plan (PIP). To allow you to enjoy the maximum 12 months instalment, PIP runs from May each year to Apr the following year, based on your previous year’s tax payable or your current year’s estimated tax payable. Did you know? IRAS sends out tax bills in batches, so some taxpayers may receive their tax bill earlier than others. To check if your 2026 income tax bill (Notice of Assessment) is ready, log in to myTax Portal using your Singpass. If you need your latest tax bill for application purposes (e.g. bank loan or grants), you may use these alternative documents instead: • Payslips/Form IR8A (obtainable from your employer) • CPF contribution statement • Consolidated statement and acknowledgement on myTax Portal after filing your tax return • Previous year’s tax bill (myTax Portal > “Inbox” > “View Notices” > “Individual”) More at https://go.gov.sg/mytaxbill. #TaxSeason2026
