🇮🇱#Israel: An Israeli journalist documents daily raids on Palestinian prisoners inside Rakifet Prison, a high security underground facility. The footage shows prisoners being routinely intimidated, with so-called “elite” Israeli prison units storming cells, forcing detainees face-down on the floor while searches are carried out using police dogs. Regular beatings and violence (consistent with well-documented torture practices in other Israeli detention centres) are widespread in this prison. Prisoners are said to never see daylight, and reports mention they are deprived of basic necessities such as food and water. It is reported that during the exchange of fire, Gofman was wounded and later evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
