🍍The Pyaterochka of the Future in St. Petersburg is a phygital format. 🍐Here’s how it works: at the entrance, there are monitors. You use them to log into your personal account, select items on the screen, and click “Place Order.” The order is collected within 7 minutes — just be sure to keep the receipt with the order number, which has a QR code for payment (you pay after receiving your order). 🍈There’s a dedicated area with coffee and pastries for waiting. Each table has power outlets (which is a huge plus). If you forgot to add something, you can grab it yourself from the sales floor and scan it along with your main order at the checkout to pay. 🥑I wonder if this format will catch on.
