Did you know that in St.Petersburg near Lakhta centre (Gasprom) there are three giant flagpoles each 175 meters high? ☆The first flag is the flag of the Russian Federation ☆The second one is the flag of the Soviet Union ☆The third one is the flag of the Russian Empire (Tsarist Russia). 🔻The introduction of three flags in 2023 coincided with significant historical anniversaries tied to their creation: - the 165th anniversary of the Russian Empire's flag, - the 100th anniversary of the Red Banner, - the 330th anniversary of Peter the Great's tricolor. 🔻The building of the Lakhta Center (Gazprom Center) is visible in the background.
