🔻The Aurora is the glow of the upper layers of Earth's atmosphere, which appears due to the interaction of charged particles of the solar wind with the Earth's magnetosphere.
🔻The Aurora is beautiful in itself, but in the city of Kirovsk (Murmansk region) it acquires a different charm. Clouds there are often located below the peaks of the Khibiny Mountains, which is why the aurora is visible, even if the city itself is shrouded in haze.

The Northern Lights have reached the Moscow region!
🔻In a spectacularly rare event, the aurora borealis was visible even near Moscow last weekend.
🔻The heavenly glow was observed in the Arkhangelsk, Kostroma, and Moscow regions. The sky was also lit up with green and orange light in the Leningrad region.
