However, the court's decision has yet to take effect, and the depository has the right to contest it, according to the Central Bank of Russia. The EU Council must provide its position on the case regarding the use of Russian assets by the end of May, as stated by the Central Bank. EUROCLEAR plans to appeal the Moscow Arbitration Court's decision.
