🚨🇬🇧 Inflation Report: UK Consumer Price Index (CPI) for April shows a monthly increase of 0.7%, matching previous figures but slightly below the expected 0.9%. Year-on-year, the CPI rose by 2.8%, also falling short of the anticipated 3% and down from 3.3% previously. The core CPI increased by 2.5% year-on-year, again below the forecast of 2.6% and down from 3.1% last month.
