Samah Alloush: The Joy That Never Was Completed💔 ​After thirty-six days of steadfastness under the fire of bombardment, joy filled the heart of Samah Alloush as she heard news of a ceasefire. In the very moment she decided to displace in search of a new life, she felt optimistic and thought that luck had finally smiled upon her. She wrote with a heart full of hope: ​"I stayed for 36 days under the bombardment, and just as I decided to displace, they called a ceasefire. God, I love my sweet luck!" ​She did not know that treachery would rob her of that joy, and that the "sweet luck" she celebrated would lead her to ascend as a martyr, carrying her dreams of return and peace.
