Victron MPPT 250/100 feature.... There are several conditions where the victon MPPT will go in to what I'll call "panic mode". When it does this, it closes a latching relay across the PV inputs. This can be reset via the bluetooth app on your phone. It's a really cool feature because if you didn't anticipate the solar panel voltage going over 250v and one fine cold morning it does, then it will save itself by "crowbarring" the solar input. The other condition is if it detects a short circuit between the battery + and the PV +. So what happened today.... (next post).
