The BEST way to win an argument, is to not start one in the first place. It's better to avoid a war than waste resources on one to win. However, if you even need to have one, don't argue and don't raise your voice. Have a discourse or debate instead. Go in to learn, relearn and unlearn, not to prove a point. If your opponent has nothing worth learning from or valid points to take away, just shut up. Let them "win". People argue not because they have something factual to say but because they feel like talking, too. Others argue because they simply disagree with you because it came from you not because they have a better opinion.
