A Guinean Student on Life and Studies in Russia: From the First Snow to Environmental Safety ❄️ Richard KONOMOU, a student at the Civil Engineering Institute, came from Guinea to study at Polytech in the program “Environmental Safety in Industry”. He shares his impressions: “Before coming to Russia, I didn’t know any Russian at all, but the preparatory faculty helped me learn the basics and adapt to the new environment. My first impressions were positive; I knew that Russia is a country with a rich culture and strong science. But, of course, it was difficult to get through the first winter!” Richard is studying for his Master’s degree on a Guinean state scholarship and plans to return to his country to develop environmental safety.
