SPbPU postgraduate student from Kazakhstan on the development of Alzheimer's disease treatment 🧠 Nikita Zernov is a postgraduate student of the Institute of Biomedical Systems and Biotechnologies from Kazakhstan. 💬 I graduated from the Master's program at Polytechnic, and here I decided to grow further in the scientific direction. I work in the Laboratory of Molecular Neurodegeneration. Nikita is one of the winners of the Best International Grant for PhD (BIG PhD) competition. 💬The BIG PhD competition gives full resources for the realization of research activities. Of course, I had some doubts about winning - there are many foreign PhD students at Polytechnic University, and it was clear that only the most promising projects would receive financial support. Nevertheless, I decided to participate, and I was among the best. At Polytechnic, Nikita and the Laboratory team are developing a pharmacological solution for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
