SPbPU ranked among top 5 Russian universities in metallurgy by URAP SPbPU has strengthened its positions in the international URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance), entering 9 subject areas. The most significant progress was made in metallurgy (+47 positions) and physics (+10). The university is now among the top 5 Russian universities in metallurgy and the top 10 in materials science. Rector Andrei Rudskoi highlighted that SPbPU combines the traditions of a leading scientific school with modern technologies, and its graduates are in high demand at major metallurgical enterprises. The URAP ranking evaluates research productivity, citation impact, and international collaboration. Despite current challenges, SPbPU continues to support its researchers and advance scientific excellence. According to the Global Aggregate Ranking, SPbPU is among the top 3% of universities worldwide.
