🇨🇺#Cuba: Clashes erupted overnight in Ciego de Ávila, central Cuba. Protesters set fire to the local headquarters of the Communist Party as demonstrations against the government, sparked by ongoing nationwide blackouts, entered their second week. There are also reports that a man was shot by pro-government supporters (colectivos), which are armed civilian groups that operate in support of the authorities and are often used to intimidate or confront protesters.
