Elderly women, known as shushus, walk the streets of the Korogocho neighborhood in fear that they’ll fall victim to rape. A local woman conducts training sessions that teach the grannies to hit back and say ‘NO’. These self-defence classes empower women to feel confident and stand their ground, while giving them a respite from their daily chores.
