Russian hipster Mecca #photo#Russia Nikola-Lenivets is where Moscow hipsters flock to snap selfies and cool pictures for their Instagrams. And we totally get them! Art objects, peculiar wooden sculptures, idyllic green fields are absolutely worth the 200-km trip from Moscow to the Kaluga region. Nikola-Lenivets is the name of a tiny village. It’s also a famous art park started by the artist Nikolay Polissky, who decided to stop painting oil landscapes and turn those very landscapes into pieces of art. He asked village residents to help him build 200 snowmen. Then he convinced them to build a gigantic Tower of Babel made of hay. Next came a wicker tower adorned with zucchinis. For the past 20 years, Nikolay and local craftsmen have been experimenting with art forms as part of the landscape. And everyone seems to love it. Follow: https://t.me/rtdocumentary
