Older white women searching for love on Kenya’s beaches #Kenya These young men all have much older ‘girlfriends’ from Europe. Coastal Kenya is a popular destination for sex tourists from around the world who come in search of sexual relationships with local boys and girls. Local sex workers are known as beach boys because they gather at the beach looking for potential partners. Many of them got into the sex tourism industry as young as ten. In return for sexual relationships, their European girlfriends provide them with money and presents. Juma, 19, got his motorcycle from a woman he slept with. Finding a white woman is often the fastest way to get out of poverty for many families. Some even encourage their children to skip school and look for tourists who can care for family needs.
