On May 5 2015, a memorial was unveiled in Donetsk to commemorate the children killed by the Ukrainian shelling of Donbass. There are 66 names inscribed on the plaque; the youngest was only a year old. Since then, the list has multiplied. According to the UN, 152 children had died in Donbass by April 2021. In the film Donbass: The Grey Zone, which we made in early 2022, a captured Ukrainian soldier is brought to the memorial. He is shown a list of killed children. We are posting this clip today. As well as an excerpt from the documentary Donbass: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. The monument and the place next to it in Donetsk is called the Alley of Angels. The slab is littered with children’s toys. Above it, there is a wrought iron arch twined with metal roses. And a bell made of a large-calibre shell casing. Then, two years after the monument was erected, a sculpture appeared next to it - a boy covering his little sister and looking up into the sky. #video#Ukraine Follow: https://t.me/rtdocumentary
